Ingrid’s work is sensitive and deliberate with an inclination towards the abstract. She works methodically and patiently, enjoying the effect of layering colour in a variety of mediums. An artistic technique that Ingrid is fond of is scraping-back surface colour to reveal the hidden colours beneath. Her ability to explore colour-play has resulted in surprising and beautiful work.
